Jmeter freezes after/during seeding of SecureRandom using newest Java (1.4 beta)

I found the problem. The default random device with the 1.4 SDK under Linux is
/dev/random. Once I changed it to /dev/urandom the problem went away. You can do
this in java.security or with 

-Djava.security.egd=file:/dev/urandom
