http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=22512 Https connections should be reused among samplers of the same thread Summary: Https connections should be reused among samplers of the same thread Product: JMeter Version: 1.9.RC3 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: HTTP AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] JMeter seems to generate a SSL connection (at least using the same session ?) for each request sent (Http sampler, followed redirect, embedded image-css-...). This makes response time measurements quite useless as the cost of the SSL reconnection is sometimes a lot more than the effective cost of the response handling (and the workload on the SSL negociating server is not realistic). Could it be possible to put a flag somewhere (at the Thread group level or Simple controller ?) saying that all subsequent requests have to share and reuse the same connection, opened by the first request and closed by the last one ? And this occuring per thread of course :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
