Cookies work fine for me using http: on the nightlies; I've not tested https: - but I'm a bit surprised that one works and the other doesn't. I still wonder if the NPE errors are anything to do with it. As these are related to saving sample results to a file, it would be interesting to know if the cookie problem still occurs if there is no output file.
