           Summary: Test scenario not working
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.1.1
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTTP
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In performance testing, when I send a HTTP request to back end system, there a
delay of 5 seconds.Say if I use one thread then I cannot send the second
request unless the thread gets the response for the first request.

When I try to configure 5 threads sending the message every next second, say
1,2,3,4,5s so that when the 5th message is sent by then first message is back.
This way message will be sent continuosly.

The problem is when I set the scenario using ramp-up or the scheduler, I see
most of the times it waits for 3-4 seconds which does not similate the live
scenario where different clients will access the system.

Is this difficult to simulate.
