Summary: SOAP/XML-RPC Request Sampler doesn't work
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.2
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTTP
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi,

I tried using SOAP/XML-RPC Request to create a webservice call in JMeter 2.2.
The Response from the Server is always a HTTP 411: Length Required. Did you
forget to set the Content-Length Header with this sampler?

I tried setting the message content with the input field in the gui as well as
using a file on the hard disc but both ways don't work. I set the SOAPAction
field activated, but as far as I can see if it is not set, the error is the
same.

Additionally the request data field in the tree listener looks kind of weird. No
HTTP method set in front of the url ... no body set ... I don't know what I
could have done wrong, because its not that hard to configure that Sampler ...

Regards
