Summary: HTTPS connection on VM-Ware on slx-cluster
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.3.1
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTTP
        AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ralph.munder...@lhsystems.com

On our VM-Ware on slx-cluster (OS Suse Linux ES 10 SP 2) JMeter-HTTP-checks
needs serveral minutes (up to 500 seconds) to establish the initial https
connection. Every further HTTPS-requests run within a few seconds up to one
minute. This behavior occurs in all our JMeter-skripts on this machine.
In our test environment (HP DL 385, OS Suse Linux ES 10 SP 2) all this
JMeter-scripts run in a normal manner (< 1 minute per script with a few
https-requests).
Our java-version on both environments is 1.4.2_x
Kind regards
Ralph
