Hi Mani,
Like the documentation says, you should go to IE, Tools->InternetOptions->
Connections->LanSettings, and check the use proxy server, and enter the address and
port number. Now you can go start the proxy server, and you should see it start.

Hi,

I am trying to use the proxy server feature of JMeter to record a test
script. I am a beginner at that and don't know where I am going wrong as it
is not working out for me.

I add HTTP Proxy Server to the WorkBench and click the start the button,
button as mentioned in the User Manual, no message is output to the console
saying that "HTTP Proxy server started". And there is no way JMeter seems to
be recording the Browser events after that.

Is there sth I am missing out there??

rgds,
Manish
