the current SOAP webservice sampler uses Apache Soap driver.  It works
with axis, jwsdp and .net webservices. Atleast it should and I've
verified it against a conforming webservice. apache soap driver uses
HTTP.

therefore, if you want to do soap over RMI or some other network
protocol, you'll have to write a new sampler.
