Hi, no pb, even I discovered that and was quite amazed !

Right click on testPlan, then insert > non test element > Proxy !!

you can then define the port, what to record and what not to record etc.... BUT you have to create befor, for your thread group, a record controler (insert...logical controleur ....record controler)
and tell the proxy to record into that record controler that's it

hope it helps ....

Subject: Fine Timer

Hi everybody, I'm totally new to JMeter so please be knid ... ;-)

Here's what I would like to know .

I use the proxy to record the site I want to use...works Perfect...I've not put a filter for images or javascripts files....

I've put a timer for my thread group (3000 ms) but the problem is that the timer applies even to requests concerning image files, or css files!!
Which means that it corresponds to clicking on a page, then getting the css 3 second after, then getting the *.js 3 second after, then getting the first image 3 seonds afters....etc ....etc.... This is not very realistic !

Well is there a way to tell globally to JMeter to not apply the timer to *.js;*.css;*.jpg etc ...... ?

Thanks very much in advance for your responses...
