Yes, but you have to start the local version of the test separately.

It won't generate samples unless you also start the test locally.

The result will be that the Master instance will have to process
almost as much information as running 300 tests itself.

Though if the tests have lots of complicated assertions and logic, at
least that part of the load would be handled elsewhere.
