The Java Test Sampler is under the Java Request:

http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Java_Request

Click on ClassName and change to JavaTest if necessary.

Any data entered in the fields will be stored in the appropriate
response fields.
For example, you could set the Label as follows:

Label: tcid=${tcid} tag=${tag}

etc. and see the information in a Listener (and/or in a JTL file).

It's useful also for testing Assertions.

I'll see about adding some details on it to the component reference.
