If you want to try the current 2.1 branch (which has the fix for bug
37716), you can try a nightly build - follow the "Nightly build" link
on the download page

Please be sure to read the information on the download pages.

Hi,
The BugZilla Bug 37716, "Invalid request using Proxy for a multipart/form-data with
no filename specified", seems to indicate at the same issue i have at hand. I am
using JMeter 2.1.1 and probably new patch might resolve the issue.
Can u help me with the corresponding patch and a way to download it.
I should appreciate the effort that has gone into maintaining the online
support. Great work guys.
Thanks for the timely help.

Hi sebb,
I have been able to trouble shoot further on this . The request uses a form of
mutli-part data type, where in an icon file can be specified amongst the
details for a particular product. However this field is an optional one.
The problem that i face is that the request for finding details corresponding
to a known product, yields no result when using JMeter for recording.I was able
to find a work around by adding a value in the field corresponding to the icon
file, with which i can get it to work.
However i realize that the product name field (using which i find details of
the product) , turns up differently at the server end.Unlike what i give in the
request it takes the default value. This i have certained from the server logs.
I do use a Cookie manger. I have been through the archives of JMeter, but they
have rather left me confused a bit, on whether there is true suport for
multipart requests in JMeter.
Please do let me know if the Bugzilla needs to raised.
Thanks,
Azeem

Did you add a Cookie Manager to the test plan?

What evidence do you have for this?

If you have a test case that can reproduce this, then please raise a
Bugzilla issue and attach all the necessary files.
