To handle XML requests in jmeter

Hi all,
   
  Please help me out in handling xml request in jmeter.
  I have used SOAP/XML-RPC sampler in the thread group but the xml body doesnt 
get along with the url (i.e the service request). Please help me out with the 
steps to be followed when constructing this xml request.
