First you no need the Java EE you can simply use Java 5 SE or Java 6 SE i.e JDK 6 Update 16 or even JRE 6 Update 16 should be sufficient. Second this installed Java 5/6 should be your default java, to check if it is in you console type: java -version a see if this pointing to java 5/6.
