Samplers are the 'do this' action components in JMeter, so I'd start with the list of samplers from the user manual.
Note, just because a technology is mentioned in a JMeter sampler does not mean JMeter supports all aspects of that technology. For instance, the FTP sampler pretty much lets you upload or download a file as an FTP client. It does not support all aspects of the FTP protocol (e.g. it won't get a directory listing), nor does it act as an FTP server. >From http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html : - 18.1 Samplers<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#samplers> - FTP Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#FTP_Request> - HTTP Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#HTTP_Request> - JDBC Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#JDBC_Request> - Java Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Java_Request> - SOAP/XML-RPC Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#SOAP/XML-RPC_Request> - WebService(SOAP) Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#WebService(SOAP)_Request> - LDAP Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#LDAP_Request> - LDAP Extended Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#LDAP_Extended_Request> - Access Log Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Access_Log_Sampler> - BeanShell Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#BeanShell_Sampler> - BSF Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#BSF_Sampler> - JSR223 Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#JSR223_Sampler> - TCP Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#TCP_Sampler> - JMS Publisher<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#JMS_Publisher> - JMS Subscriber<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#JMS_Subscriber> - JMS Point-to-Point<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#JMS_Point-to-Point> - JUnit Request<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#JUnit_Request> - Mail Reader Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Mail_Reader_Sampler> - Test Action<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Test_Action> - SMTP Sampler<http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#SMTP_Sampler> On Wed, May 18, 2011 at 8:19 PM, Muthukrishnan S. < muthukrishna...@sonata-software.com> wrote: > Dear All, > > I am sorry there was a typo in my email.
