I tried testing some exported images to make sure that the code which I
recently checked in didn't break anything.
.jpg seems to work fine
.png seems to work fine
.ppm seems to work fine (what is a .ppm file?)
Both of the above seem to export at screen resolution.
Q:Is there a desire to export at a higher resolution, say for printing?
Q:Is there a desire to export a .png file as a vector instead of
as a bitmap?
.bmp may have some type of problem
It seems there is some issue with the file format. A .bmp file gets
generated. It works fine under WinME (using paint and Paint Shop Pro).
But ImageMagick under linux does not like the file. I tried using
several commands (identify, display) and they encounter an unexpected
end of file.
I confirm that this bug exists in release 5, prior to my recent
code submissions.
PovRay
I don't understand how it is supposed to work. It seems to be calling some
command-line tool, but I don't have it installed. What do I need to do to
install it and test it?
