Hi all,

with making Debian packages in mind, I would like to clean up Jmol with
respect to CDK [1] classes included in CVS. CDK now has a set of clean
interfaces to the data classes, and a growing number of interfaces in
general, and I would like to be able to compile Jmol just against these
interfaces.

Additionally, I would like to remove CDK classes from Jmol CVS which have to
deal with CDK based IO. That is, as few of you might realize, Jmol can be
started such that it will not use the Jmol IO classes, but the CDK IO classes
instead. I would like to move this code to the CDK project, so that Jmol can
be compiled without classes other than the CDK interfaces.

Comments on these two things?

Egon
