Summary: font axes command not working

Initial Comment:
I can't change the axes font size, and I don't know why. (Sorry if it's my
fault).
I haven't been able to find this in the bug database.

Steps to reproduce:
Go to http://jmol.sourceforge.net/demo/jssample0/ and start console:

labels on;
font labels 18;
axes 6;
-- works nicely so far
font axes 18;
font axes 28;
The axes font does NOT change (in particular the "x" is easily visible). The
documentation has led me to believe it would.

Message:
Indeed, the doc explicitly mentions axes as one of the text-objects whose
font can be changed.
I confirm this is not working in 11.8.9 and 11.9.8, not even in 11.2
(curiously, it works in 10.00).
Thanks for reporting, N. J.
