That's fine by me. All I really was worried about was not having a button shown enabling the user to hide the console in the applet, so subclassing/adding buttons will do fine for that.
I just saw your email about the aspects your currently working on and wondered if it would be wise for me to include the current 12.1.1x_dev Jmol in the next full release of Jalview - which I'm getting ready for release at the end of this week/beginning of next. From my side, I don't think there'll be much problems cause by including an unstable version of Jmol - since I'm already planning a minor release for next month where I'll be able to update to a more stable Jmol snapshot. Of course, ideally I'd like it that people can update their Jmol version indepently of Jalview - but it's going to need a few more iterations before that reality hits :) Jim. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- J.
