In case you are interested, here is a link to the Jmol Android application:
http://jmol.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jmol/trunk/Jmol-Android/bin/JmolAndroid.apk
It's just a preliminary version -- It will probably change rapidly as we
adapt it and work out the bugs.
We would appreciate any comments or suggestions, though.
This uses a new Jar file, JmolLib.jar, that is compiled along with the
others when you compile Jmol using Eclipse and Build.xml.
This file is all of Jmol except:
-- menus
-- export
-- console
-- file dialogs
-- translations
All the graphics are there, but you have to provide the actual object that
is to be drawn to, such as Android or .NET Canvas.
The idea is that platforms other than Java that can utilize Java bytecode as
a starting point, for example Android, .NET or -- who knows, maybe "HTMLn"
some day -- can now incorporate Jmol within them.
Of course, it doesn't actually run yet....

If nature does not answer first what we want,
it is better to take what answer we get.
