But there appear messages from Jmol in the Firefox status line for 
several years (at least) with the standard 'Jmol.js' and no special 
extra javascript (besides having activated message callback).

Examples:
1) script 1 started
2) 5 atoms selected
3) Jmol script terminated
4) [ASN]56:B.OD1/1 #3206 -6.157 -11.519 -61.809998
    (after clicking on an atom)
