Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Alexander Goncearenco (neksa) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: isosurface property mapping does not work in headless mode Initial Comment: Hi, Jmol 13.0.10 with JRE 1.6 (Apple, on Mac) or with JRE 1.7 (Oracle, on Linux) I tried generating JVXL surfaces on the server side using headless mode (java.awt.headless=true). With the simple surfaces it works fine and produces a valid XML that I can load later in Jmol. However, it fails when I try to "show isosurface" which has been color mapped ("map property temperature"). The output cuts just before the xml stream. As a temporary workaround I run Jmol with an X server (headed mode), which is quite inconvenient for the server side setup.
