I checked in a preliminary implementation of MessageCallBack and
PickCallBack for the JmolApplet. I also implemented 'debugscript' as an
applet parameter.
All of these are available through the normal applet parameter mechanism
<applet ...
<param name="MessageCallBack" value={MyMessageJavascriptFunctionName} >
<param name="PickCallBack" value={MyPickJavascriptFunctionName} >
<param name="debugscript" value="true" >
The current code is pseudo-Chime-compatibile in that it only calls the
javascript functions with the name of the calling applet and an
'information' string. (... no extended functionality). The text of the
'info' string is close, but not exactly the same as RasMol/Chime.
The 'debugscript' setting is also available as:
'set debugscript on/off'
***Please let me know how Chime implements this*** (if it does)
These changes are checked into cvs.
I suspect we will have another 'beta' release later this week.
