That is a good idea. The documentation says that an applet does have the
ability to open a document in a new browser window.

There is a, however, a small conflict. Eric has pointed out that Chime
supports left-clicking on the 'frank' as an alternate mechanism to bring
up the pop-up menu ... particularly for Macs ...

Perhaps that is a good solution to this problem. Some applet parameter
that specifies the what clicking on the 'frank' should do.
