Tim, certainly *you* do not need to worry about being left behind. In your
case you are more than capable of taking care of yourself.

The parameters to the applet are subject to change in the future. Two
examples:

 * JmolApplet.jar is going to be split into several .jar files in order to
facilitate loading across slow network connections. Taking advantage of
this will require changes to the 'archive' attribute

 * In the future I hope to introduce a 'signed applet'. This will also
require changes to the 'archive' attribute. And it could get quite
complicated because IE with the MSFT JVM will not not work ... so there
may be some complicated JavaScript testing involved before the <applet>
tag is written.

So, code needs to be encapsulated in order to take advantage of these things.

Did not mean to offend anyone ... at least not anyone outside of the OSX
development team.

You can, and I can, but most people cannot.

If they could ... and if they wanted to be accessing the UNIX core ...
then they would be running LINUX! ... just kidding ;-)
