Thanks for the suggestion and I just spent some time poking about a bit with it. I don't think this type of access would have helped in this case because unless you already know your way around all the sources I don't see any way of finding something when you don't know where to look. But maybe I am just so unfamiliar with sourceforge's CVS presentation that I'm missing the obvious.
