hi Nico, just had an opportunity to use the above page - this is an excellent resource! thanks for taking the time to develop it. it might be worth adding the RGB decimal codes (rrr, ggg, bbb) to the hex codes already present. some software programs do not accept hex codes. I can batch-convert them, but not for at least two weeks, so if someone else has the itch... in the meantime, if anyone needs a decimal code from the hex (eg for RasMol or DS Viewer), you can use this: <http://www.molvisions.com/tools/rgb_converter/> thanks again, Nico! tim -- Timothy Driscoll molvisions - see, grasp, learn. <http://www.molvisions.com/> usa:north carolina:raleigh "Science is facts; just as houses are made of stones, so is science made of facts; but a pile of stones is not a house and a collection of facts is not necessarily science." - Henri Poincare ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Jmol-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jmol-users
