READ: "IS A CLEAR" security problem. The problem is that there is only "total" access -- not "paste" alone, just "copy and paste". So any applet that can write to the clipboard can also read from it. Definitely a security issue.
So if we wanted to implement this, we would need to be very clear that no reading of the clipboard is being done.
