The upcoming stable release will be version 10.2, and from now on Jmol will
use a stable and unstable branch. In 10.00.xx development and bug fixing was
done in one series, but 10.2 will have bugfix releases, as the applet is now
used on so many high-impact websites. The 'post-10.1' development series will
be named 10.3.xx.

This numbering scheme uses even numbers for stable releases and odd number for
development releases. So, the first stable release after based on the
upcoming 10.3 development tree will thus be called 10.4.

Hope this does not confuse too many people :)
