I would like to provide a link from a page with a Jmol applet, to a page with another applet from a different server, where the version of Jmol is likely to be different. Given that the browser cache needs to be cleared to change applets, is there any particularly "good" way to do provide such a link, or is it just taking a risk to do it? Also, I need to decide whether to open a new window (I would prefer this) or whether to load the new page into the existing window.
