Hi Dean,
I am on OS x v 10.4.8, and I find the rotation in Firefox pretty
jerky even in older Jmol versions, for example 10.00.46. However, it
is not particularly smooth in Safari either.
Do you have a URL for a page with 10.9.66? I would be glad to test it
and get back to you.
