Hi Bob,

I'd like to color a surface in Jmol by MEP data that were generated using PyMol with a plugin. I just learned that the PyMol plugin generates a data file for the MEP that is in a .dx format. The part of .dx that is used for this purpose is described here:
http://apbs.sourceforge.net/doc/user-guide/index.html#opendx-format

Would it be a reasonable request for Jmol to be able to read this format? I believe it would be beneficial in that PyMol is so widely used, thought I do not know how often people use this plug-in. For more information about the plug-in, see
http://pymol.sourceforge.net/plugins.html
and
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mlerner/PyMOL/

Thanks,
Frieda
