I found a solution: Reducing the map resolution to 1.0 solved it. This resolution actually looks surprisingly good for larger channels. However, this resolution is not so good for small pores, so I have introduced a user option for small/large pores with a higher resolution. >> - would it be possible for the surfaces to change not only the >> lighting between front and back but also the color? The two colors have to be the same. I added a option for two surfaces. This again works only well for large/medium pores. In conclusion, I am very happy with the way Jmol works for zeolites! Thank you very much for your help in making all this possible.
