Hi, I tried to use Jmol 11.3.11 (and also went back to 11.1.7) for an automatic (non-interactive) JPEG image generation pipeline (SuSE Linux 9.3, Java 1.4.2_13).
But I ran into some problems: 1) I could not change the default image size of 512x611 pixel to any other size by using the geometry switch (e.g.: -g 800x800). Is there any other way to influence the size? 2) The generated JPEG images were about 5 times bigger than JPEG files with the often used standard quality of 75. But when I tried to use the new quality option of the "write image" command inside the script (instead of the "-w" option) I only got an empty image. (Interactively the "write image" command and its quality setting worked well.) I also noticed that Jmol 11.3.11 was not fully silent started with the "-i" switch. It printed the following message: viewer.setIntProperty(_version,1103011) - integer variable defined Regards, Rolf ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
