Hello all,

I usually figure out my own coding problems but after two days I thought
someone might be able to suggest a fix. I want to load a single pdb
file with two models or alternatively load one, then load append
another, and then rotate the second model (or appended file) while
keeping the other one fixed. These files and commands will be part of
web tutorial files.

I've created two different web files that successfully load/display one
model and then the other. I'm using a pdb file with multiple NMR
structures which I've deleted all but two. In one pdb file I have both
nmr structures as different models. In another case I've created two
separate pdb files, one for each model. I've created web pages for the
single pdb file with two models and for the two appended files. When I
try to load both and then rotate just one, nothing happens.

It would seem that the rotateselect command and set background model 1
(for example) might work but I've had no luck. Here is the line with
commands I'm trying to do this with for the web tutorial using the two
appended files:

load nmr1.pdb; load append nmr10.pdb; model 0; select 1; trace; color
red; set background model 1 \"nmr1.pdb.model1\"; select 10; trace; color
blue; rotateselected Y 180

I get both molecules displayed but nothing moves. The above line of
commands is just one of an "infinite" number I've tried for the past two
days. Is this possible? I suspect I'm not putting the correct select
codes in the right place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much.
