Hi, I am interested the color per vertex information which is mapped to atomic
attributes e.g eletrostatic potential within Jmol

The question, is there a plan to export vrml in near future(e.g. latest 11.7.x
version of Jmol.) with indivdual different color per vertex.
thanks

The vrml exporter does include support for isosurfaces with a single
color, but not for gradient color. Make sure you are using the latest
11.7.x version of Jmol.

Jmol does not use textures for coloring surfaces, so I don't see how
that could be put into practice.
As far as I know (which is not much) about vrml, you should be able
to edit the vrml file output from Jmol and change the coloring of the
surface yourself, manually or with a vrml-supportive program. Is it
not so?
