Dear All,

We use Jmol to display structures and animated reactions on ChemTube3D and have recently been asked if it is possible to have a record option (within Jmol) where the selected animation settings and view can be recorded and saved into a media file (e.g. Quicktime .mov .avi) that can be easily imported into presentations.

I know you can use other software to record but wondered if it was possible using Jmol, so that we could add a few buttons to the animations and users would be able to record the sections that they need.

Does anybody know if this is already possible within Jmol and if so, how we could incorporate the feature into our site?

Best Wishes
Kirsty
