after loading the page, on the command line enter
javascript:alert(_jmol)
and if that gives [object]
try
javascript:alert(_jmol.scripts)
or
javascript:alert(_jmol.useNoApplet)
Hard to imagine that Jmol.js loaded at all if _jmol.useNoApplet wasn't
found, but that's part of Jmol.js
You could also try putting messages like
alert("here")
in various places in Jmol.js just to see if it is loading.
