Dear Jmol users,

In collaboration with Dr. Nicholas Provart at the University of
Toronto, I have implemented the Jmol web applet as both a protein
structure explorer and as a 3D protein-protein interaction network
explorer within the ePlant project (bar.utoronto.ca/eplant). The
protein structure explorer maps manually curated domains and
catalytic/substrate binding sites from the Conserved Domain Database
onto a proteome-wide structure prediction effort for the model plant
Arabidopsis thaliana. To our knowledge the 3D network explorer is a
novel application of Jmol. We're interested to hear your comments on
these applications and how they could be improved.

cheers!
~Geoff
