It was a bug in Jmol that I introduced when I added that thin scrolling
panel on the far right. Turns out that Safari or maybe the Mac OS itself
doesn't give the same sort of "mouse move" signals that a PC does. So even
though the mouse was moved outside the scrolling region, it wasn't turning
that off. Can't say I really understand what it was doing; I just told it to
recognize a mouse press instead of a mouse move. It happened only
occasionally because as you move the mouse there's a slight delay, and
apparently sometimes it missed that it was going through the scrolling
region and sometimes it didn't when it was being moved quickly off the right
side of the applet. Very odd.
