Dear all,

When I try to add this atom to a structure, the atom appears but the rest of
the structure goes away. What am I doing wrong?

           var atomString =  "1\n\n" + type + " " + parseFloat(x) + " " +
parseFloat(y) + " " + parseFloat(z);
            jmolScript('set appendNew FALSE; DATA "model"' + atomString +
' end "model"; ');

What does the 1 before the \n\n represent?

Is in Jmol any simple way to add atoms ?

Thanks, Piero
