No, I think I had found it but did not recognize it. I wasn't looking for
anything new or a PHP file.
The more I look I think it may have been something you posted on the way to
developing http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jmol.php. There must have been an
example with a script that I took to editing. I remade one now that works:

all; spacefill on; color gold;

Well, do you mean server-side? All you need in general is to create the
JMOL or PNGJ file -- preferably PNGJ with a PNG extension so that it
appears as an image:
write PNGJ "myfile.png"
Then email that.
Do you want a PHP file that does that?
