Well, you know, since JSmol is JavaScript already, there's really no reason
to use the JSON string business. You can just get the "Java" object now if
you are using the HTML5 option. You will have to learn how to access that
info as a "Java" object, though:

x = Jmol.getPropertyAsJavaObject(jmolApplet0,
"appletInfo").get("operatingSystem")

This works now in HTML5 or Java.
