Bob,
On my laptop, the various options are not dramatically different - faster to be
sure, but not dramatic. The iPad is a different story entirely. The difference
is dramatic.
I'm mostly interested in small molecules. Small molecules with surfaces on iPad
Safari have been tolerable - barely. On iPad Chrome, small molecule display
with of without surface display is pretty useless.
With the fastest setting, Safari on iPad shows dramatic improvement. Chrome
moves into the tolerable range.
Since my colleague, Tom, and I are focusing on iPad, I really like the speed
increase. I'm not sure about making it default. Many people may not like it as
default. Could it be made easy to turn on and off?

Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite!
It's a free troubleshooting tool designed for production.
Get down to code-level detail for bottlenecks, with <2% overhead.
Download for free and get started troubleshooting in minutes.
