Starting January 2014 all Java applets will need to be updated to
trusted-signed applets, even if the applet is of the "unsigned" variety.
The language has changed:
old new
unsigned signed/sandbox
signed signed/all-permissions
Jmol.js older than 10/31/2013 PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK STARTING JANUARY 2014
without Jmol2.js and JSmol.min.js. This is because older versions of
Jmol.js do not add the "permissions" attribute to the applet's object tag.
An updated version of Jmol.js is available at
https://sourceforge.net/p/jmol/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/Jmol/appletweb/old/Jmol.js?format=raw
for an updated Jmol.js if you absolutely cannot upgrade to JSmol and
Jmol2.js.
