First thing to find is your Java console. How to get that depends upon your
system, Windows or Mac. http://www.java.com/en/download/help/javaconsole.xml
There are messages there. In this case the message is:
Exception in thread "Thread-78" java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: apiPlatform
I think you just have a bad version of Jmol. So see if just updating Jmol
fixes it: http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/zip has the latest.
