I'm not sure when it happened, but set minimizationRefresh TRUE is much faster. 
I have this set to false by default, but true is much more fun. I may default 
it to true and switch to false on a large model load.

My test for MEP is cholesterol. That's when I noticed load PubChem in not 
working on your site FOR SAFARI with any name entry. The URL is correct, but 
there is a console error being thrown - e.g.

script ERROR: unrecognized file format for file 
http://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/rest/pug/compound/name/acetone/SDF?record_type=3d

         load >> ":acetone" <<

That URL is working on a direct browser load. I get all this remote stuff 
through AJAX and chemagic server scripts, so I'm not sure how long this may 
have been an issue.

Mac Chrome is fine, and the subsequent cholesterol MEP speed is good.

Is anyone else seeing this PubChem issue with Safai?
