Ogg: [Jmol-users] JSmol2wp version 0.8 beta

I just pushed a new version of the wordpress plugin for JSmol to GitHub.
Changes:- removed data directory. This makes the zip a lot smaller and it
doesn't take forever to install.- changed system for counting instances of the
shorttag so we don't need preg_match- removed whitespace from template hoping
that solves the problem of themes adding markup- simplified load script as
suggested by Bob- made applet IDs more unique by appending post id
I realized that the applet names had to be unique not just within a post but
also between posts that might appear in the same page, i.e. when they are in
consecutive posts.
Pino's page wasn't loading due to something in his plugins or themes that was
trying to be helpful by putting in HTML markup for paragraphs wherever there
were multiple newlines. This led to HTML paragraph tags in the middle of
scripts, which then failed to execute. I hope this version compresses the
template file enough to fix that, but since I don't have access to a Wordpress
with that feature, I can't test it myself.
Thanks to Henry and Pino for patience and finding bugs!!
demo is still at http://biochemistryweb.tamu.edu/biobiodev/testing-jsmol-post/
zip file at https://github.com/jimhu-tamu/wordpress/tree/master/plugins
Best,
Jim
