Hello Shihai
The readme file is obsolete. Jmol (JSmol) now is consisted of a different set
of files and particualrly a different arrangement of them.
The JmolApplet files are still there, in an inner folder*, but usually people
do
not use them as most are moving towards using JSmol-HTML5

Please read the Wiki about how to set up a webpage that uses JSmol
http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/JSmol

And later you may come back with more questions if you need

*) java folder inside the jsmol.zip file that is inside the main downloaded zip
file
