Tested with Jmol 14.4.0_2015.11.18 APPLICATION, Java 1.8.0_65 and 66.
(Also Windows 7.)

This problem occurs *ONLY IN OS X* (tested with Yosemite, 10.10.5), NOT in Windows. Therefore it *may well be a bug in Java*.

Drag one model into the black Jmol window and drop it, or load one model from online. The model appears.

Drag a second model (PDB or CIF file) and drop into the Black Jmol window. A dialog appears "Select an Option", "Would you like to replace the current model with the selected model?". None of the 3 buttons in this dialog respond (Yes, No, Cancel). Jmol is frozen/hung. One cannot quit from the File menu or from "Jmol" in the menubar at the top of the screen. Command-Q quits, but only after a delay of about 30 sec, after which the dropped item "flies" back to its source (an icon on my desktop). During this delay, other applications can be focused, but cannot be typed into.

There is no problem using "load" repeatedly for online loading of models, or "load append".

There is no problem repeatedly dragging script files and dropping them into Jmol.
-----------------------------------
This seems related to the bug I reported earlier about dragging and dropping PNGJ files in to Jmol application. When the window size of the application is not identical in height and width to that of the saved PNGJ, in OS X, a dialog appears asking to confirm (or change) the window size. Again, Jmol freezes and the dialog is unresponsive.

Again, this freezing with resizing for PNGJ happens only in OS X, not Windows. In fact, in Windows, Jmol application does NOT ask about the size, but simply displays the molecular scene at the current Jmol application window size.

Resizing Jmol application from its Display, Resize menu opens the same resizing dialog, but WORKS correctly in both OS X and Windows.
